Swagger wants to Light the Night with your help!  
September 1 - 30, 2010

Starting September 1st, you will be able to buy a balloon at Swagger to help find a cure for cancer!  Any and all amounts of money contributed to buy a balloon will be greatly appreciated by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, but we at Swagger are going to sweeten the deal by giving everyone the opportunity to win a $400 Trollbeads bracelet with a $10 donation!

The Caring Community Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides financial support to cancer patients in need. The Foundation works with clinics and hospitals in the Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, NC areas to identify patients with financial challenges, and to expeditiously provide assistance with expenses such as rent, utilities, food, prescription medications, nutritional supplements and other items that become even more difficult to manage in the face of cancer treatment. At CCF, there are no paid employees; everyone is a volunteer, and everyone cares!

Eclipse Charity Event benefiting the Red Cross

June 29th 6 - 8 pm

It is no secret that we LOVE the Twilight Saga at Swagger!  With the release of Eclipse, the third movie in the series, we decided to have a little fun with it and raise money for a great cause at the same time!

Stop in anytime before the premier and donate ANY amount to the Red Cross that you'd like, and we'll take your picture and post it online! You can make it your facebook profile picture, download and print copies, frame it for your bedside table... whatever you want! Our goal is to raise $1,000 by June 30th.

On Tuesday, June 29th... the evening when Eclipse makes its way into theatres... be sure to join us before the midnight showing for a Girls Night Out party and you just might be able to take Edward or Jacob with you, too! For every $5.00 that you donate at this event, we will enter you to win one of the standups that have been featured in the store. And when you donate, you'll get 15% off your entire purchase (only excluding local artist merchandise)!

Swagger is so excited to team up with Life Experiences for our Holiday Open House Preview Night this year!  Life Experiences employs adults with developmental disabilities and helps them become productive citizens of the Triangle!  When we spoke with Life Experiences' Executive Director, Mary Madenspacher, and learned about their mission we couldn't help but choose them for our charity this year!
